Chuck & Jan Burwell
The Burwells joined Christar, a church planting missions agency, and left for Japan in 1990 to start a church in Ube. The Lighthouse Church took root and acquired a national pastor so in January 2010 the Burwells relocated back to California. They continue with Christar fulltime to recruit, train and send out new missionaries to do church planting and stay connected with their church plants in Japanvia phone, skype and periodic visits.
