Senior Saint’s Monthly Event Information

SATURDAY, MAY 11, 2013

ROAD TRIP!

We will be traveling to The J. Paul Getty Museum at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, located at 1200 Getty Center Drive. The Museum displays a collection from the Middle Ages to the present against a backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens and breathtaking views. Admission to the Getty Center is free. There is a $15.00 parking fee per car. We will be using personal vehicles for transportation. We will have dinner at the Yard House Restaurant in Palmdale at 1247 Rancho Vista Blvd – 93550 before heading back.

Travel Schedule –  (Times Approximate)

08:15 am – Meet at the church

08:30 am – Depart Church

10:30 am – Arrive Los Angeles

12:00 pm- Lunch at Museum Cafe

4:00 pm – Depart Los Angeles

5.15 pm – Arrive Palmdale

5:15-5:30 pm –Dinner/ Yard House Restaurant

6:30 pm – Drive back to church

About Senior Saints

The purpose of the Senior Saints Ministry is to provide an opportunity for all senior saints to come together to develop relationships through a God-glorifying, guided fellowship. We provide the opportunity through monthly gatherings where planned group activities are scheduled. These activities consist of game nights, movie nights, visits to points of interest, scripture moments, and outreach activities. When we meet locally, we always include potluck meals to share our favorite dishes.

The Senior Saints Ministry is a committee-run ministry that consists of very special individuals that have volunteered extra time to develop and organize annual fellowship activities. The committee coordinates all functions of the ministry and schedules and prepares monthly activity events for our gatherings.
