Journey – Because the Christian Walk Never Stops
AWANA for High School Students – Teenagers in grades 9th to 12th
Our high-school program, Journey, features an energetic look, biblically based content, life application and an emphasis on Scripture memory.

Bible Studies: There are 4 Main Studies, 4 Electives, and 4 Faith Foundations. Clubbers start with Faith Foundations; then complete 1 Main Study (during the first half of the year), and 1 Elective (during the second half of the year).
Lesson Requirements:
- At home the Clubber completes each lesson, including; Buckle It In, Review It, and memorize the verse in each lesson.
- Clubbers are required to complete Bible Reading and Book Summaries while working in the Main Study Book.
- Service & Training is also required which consists of: bringing visitors, participating in 3 months of service.
- The 3 month service requirement is waived for Leaders in Training (LIT’s) who must commit to an entire AWANA year.
Awards: When the Clubber finishes their Faith Foundations and the entire Main Study Book, the Main Study pin will be awarded to the Clubber. When the Clubber finishes the Elective Book, a certificate will be awarded to the Clubber. All awards will be presented to the Clubber at the Year End Ceremony.
L.I.T. Requirements:
Must be available on a regular basis on Wednesday Night to serve from 6:00-8:00pm.
Must attend Basic Training.
Must attend the Journey Program regularly.
May not be more than 2 weeks behind on their Journey work.
On Wednesday Night the L.I.T. will be accountable to their Club Specific Director.
Featured Events: There will be 5 – 6 Featured Events during the Club year.
Fees: Uniform (Journey T-Shirt) – $20.00; COBC will pay for a club specific uniform and a lanyard for LIT’s.
Replacement Costs: Lanyard ($6.00) Lanyard Pocket (.75) Faith Foundations Booklet ($5.00) and Main Study & Elective books ($11)
Journey Fest: Our Clubbers will compete against other AWANA Clubs in Bible Quizzing and Journey Games. Practice dates will be announced at a later date. These games will be held March 15th and 16th.
