Country Oaks Baptist Church – In depth verse by verse Bible teaching with God centered contemporary style worship. Believing that everyone needs to know Jesus Christ, we are dedicated to equipping people to fully experience life with Jesus.
Our purpose is to show love that testifies that we are following Jesus, that we are Christ’s disciples. Our love for Christ is demonstrated through worship and a sincere desire to grow in obedience and faith. Our love for fellow believers is shown by service. And our love for all others is shown by reaching out, inviting.
- Worship – We seek to inspire a lifestyle of true worship – Worship is the believer’s whole-hearted response of all that they are – mind, emotions, will, body – to who God is and to what He says and does. On Sunday mornings we worship through music, praise, scripture reading, preaching, prayer, the Lord’s Supper and giving.
- Grow – We will challenge each other to know God’s Word and live according to the Truth, growing in spiritual maturity. We will encourage each other to develop a deep and lasting friendship with God and our brothers and sisters in Christ.
- Serve – We will seek to be a family of believers that gives our lives in godly service to one another within the church and to those in need in our community and in our world. We grow when we serve others.
- Invite – We love Jesus Christ so much that we want to invite others to know Him as we do and follow Him with us.
A Welcome from Pastor Andy
We are excited to have you as our web guests and we hope that you will feel free to come and visit us in person. Here at Country Oaks, we want very much to reach out to the community of Tehachapi and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who have never trusted in Him as their Lord and Savior. We also desire to teach Christians how to know God better and how to live a life that honors Christ. We want to love God with whole hearts and serve God here in Tehachapi, and beyond.
If you are looking for a church that you can call home, a place where you can be involved in serving Christ and raising your family to love Him more deeply, then we invite you to worship and serve with us. We are a young church – we’re growing and building. Come and grow with us!
