We know it can be a little stressful trying out a church for the first time, so here’s a little bit about what you can expect on a Sunday morning at Country Oaks:
There are two opportunities to join us for worship on Sundays: 9:00am and 10:30am.
We aren’t particularly formal here. If your idea of dressing up is wearing your nice jeans, that’s great, and if you’d prefer a suit or dress, that’s fine, too. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you’d like to meet a lot of people, 2nd service is for you! If you prefer to start off with a slightly smaller group of people, try out our 1st service. Both services will feature the same worship music from the band and message from our pastor or special speaker. If you have any questions when you arrive, please ask our friendly people at the Guest Services desk in the Foyer – they would love to help you!
During the 9:00 service we offer Sunday School for children from Nursery to High School age, and Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) for young adults, 30’s-50’s, and Seniors/55+. To check your younger children in to Sunday School, first go to the Chapel, where you’ll find our Lamb’s List check-in, and then you’ll be able to take your children to their classes before going to the Worship Center for the service.

During the 10:30 service we offer Children’s Church for children from Nursery to 4th grade. Kids in 5th grade and up stay with their parents in the Worship Center for the whole service. We do things a little differently for the 2nd service. Parents can use the Lamb’s List in the Chapel to check their children in before service, then children spend worship time with their parents before being dismissed to their classrooms for Children’s Church.

20915 Schout Road is just one block south of Hwy 202, and only a few blocks west of Woodford-Tehachapi Road.
From the Hwy 202 / Tucker Road intersection (Jack in the Box/Taco Bell). Take Hwy 202 / Tehachapi Blvd west (a right turn if you are coming from the 58 Freeway) about 1 1/2 miles.
Turn left onto Woodford – Tehachapi Road (the Wild Rose / Texaco corner). Follow the road as it curves to the right and turns into Schout Road.
Continue about 1/2 mile. Country Oaks is on the right side of the road (before the sharp left turn).
