Raising a Modern-Day Knight Video Training Course beginning Sunday, February 21st at Country Oaks at 7:30 am and 9:00am in the chapel will help. The course is  6 weeks long. Call Mark Sheehan at 822-0809 for info or to reserve a spot.  An open letter from Mark:

Dear Dads,

Every man wants to succeed with his son. Deep down, we all dream of releasing into the world a son whose life is highly competent, whose character is rock solid, and whose aspirations are noble. In short, we long for a son who will make us and others proud!

The question is “How?”

The process behind launching a son like that can be as mysterious as it is intimidating. But no process is more important or personally fulfilling. “A wise son makes his father glad.” (Proverbs 10:1)

To that end, I offer you this Raising a Modern-Day Knight Video Training course. Beginning Sunday, February 21st, we’ll meet at Country Oaks at 9:00am in the chapel (we will have an area sectioned off for the class). This course is for dads wanting help in the process. In it are six sessions (2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 4/11) that I believe will give you clear vision and practical how-to’s to dramatically unleash the father power you have with your son.  The cost for materials  is only $19 and includes 4 different books.

I know this is a commitment and 7:30 am or 9:00am may be earlier than you come for church, but every son wants his dad to show the way…to life, to God, to authentic masculinity.  Your son is worth it! And every son wants to connect with his dad’s heart, hear his praise, and build lifelong memories. “The glory of sons is their fathers.” (Proverbs 17:6)
