Country Oaks has become a large church and it is too easy to get “lost in the crowd.” Getting involved in a small group will give you the opportunity to know others and will give others a chance to get to know you! And, you’ll be studying God’s Word as you develop relationships with others.

Cross Roads College/Career Age Group – meets at Pastor Brent’s home on Monday evenings starting at 7:00 PM.  We are currently going through a study on 1 and 2 Corinthians.

Men’s Morning Bible Study (Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology) with Pastor Andy – 6:00 AM in Room 402 @ the church.

 Divorce Care – 6:30 PM in Room 401  and Divorce Care 4 Kids in Room 301 – Find help and healing for the hurt of separation or divorce.

 Grief Share – 6:30 PM in the Conference Room – A special support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.

Parenting Class – Growing Kids God’s Way 6:00-8:00 PM in Room 401. This 17 week course equips parents with Biblical principles that can be applied to raising children in the love and admonition of the Lord. It is also a prerequisite for your child to attend Heritage Oak School. Some of the topics to be covered are: How to Raise a Moral Child, A Father’s Mandate, Character Development, Principles of Obedience, Discipline with Encouragement, and Building a Healthy Family. The Monday Night Community Group that meets at the Hopkins home in Golden Hills  is starting the study:  “Maximizing Your Christian Potential with Passion” on June 7.  Call the Hopkins at 822-5203 for more info.

If you have ever thought about joining in a Home Bible Study and also want to study Revelation, this is the study for you. The Howard/Mason Wednesday night Bible study, which meets in town (Tehachapi), will be starting a new study on August 2, 2010 (we were going to start June 2 but decided to take the summer off!).  We will be going through the audio series by Dr. David Jeremiah entitled “Escape the Coming Night”.  It will be a year-long series.
